Description D&E Door Chain with external release- W/O Cylinder The D&E 'Erica' door chain with external release operates by using a rim cylinder on the external side of the door. Using the cylinder key you are able to disengage the door chain from the locked position. See the line drawing for further clarification. The 'Erica' door chain can be fitted in the same position on a door as a conventional chain.
