Hauer Labels strengthens flexibility with PicoColour
Hauer GmbH, an Austrian family-owned business with 80 years of label printing experience, is benefiting from the installation of a Dantex PicoColour. Hauer Labels, a 4th generation owner-managed Austrian family business, offers a very broad range of self-adhesive labels for almost all markets and requirements as well as a fast and flexible response to customer requirements.
The investment in one more digital UV inkjet label press was important for Hauer to strengthen the label printing company’s flexibility, expand its product range and increase its own responsiveness to customer requests.
When asked why Hauer chose the PicoColour, Martin Hauer, managing director, replied, “The PicoColour offers outstanding value for money in the mid-range UV inkjet sector and an inline die-cutting unit. With the press, Dantex has been able to offer us an almost tailor-made system for our exact requirements. We also particularly like the mid-range size of the press with full functionality and the ability to retrofit individual options for possible future expansion of the system.”
PicoColour is a compact, highly versatile UV inkjet digital press with a print speed of up to 25 meters per minute. As a 5-colour printing system, it offers brilliant images and a very wide colour gamut. In addition, Dantex’s user-friendly PicoPilot software makes it easy to prepare, print and change jobs.
PicoColour is a modular printing system, but includes as standard, among other things, recirculating ink system, web cleaner and antistatic bar. A number of optional features are also offered: Ultra-high opacity white, varnish, variable data, corona unit, additional mark sensors, chiller roller, rotary die-cutting, edge trim and slitting and lamination.
Martin Hauer adds, “We have been a Dantex customer for decades and we always experience exceptional, personal and always veryfriendly service. The service team is top, and always guarantees fast reactions with suitable solutions for all possible problems every time.”
Commenting on Hauer’s investment, Jürgen Wessa, managing director of Dantex Germany, says, “We would like to thank Hauer for the trust they have placed in us and are delighted that we have sold another PicoColour to Austria. So far, our customers have been consistently delighted with the versatility of the machine. We are sure that with the PicoColour, the Hauer company has also received exactly the right machine for their needs and look forward to the feedback.”
