Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the provision and use of work equipment regulations 5 and 6, all racking systems are required to have regular inspections and be in efficient order. Failure to do get your racking annually checked could result in:- • Prosecution for failing to maintain your racking equipment. • Fines for breaching Health & Safety legislation. • Prohibition notices being served pending rectification of offences.
