SEMA Racking Inspections

As well as supplying and installing a wide range of shelving and racking systems, DSP also carry out detailed racking inspections and rack repair works. Under the PUWWER (Proviion and Use of Work Equipmemt Regultions) 1998, Warehouse pallet racking along with all other forms of storage is considered as work equipment and required to have regular inspections to ensure that everything is in full working order. We would suggest this is at a minimum of once every 12 months. If your equipment does not meet the PUWER then you could potentially be risking the lives of your emplyees or exposing yourself and your company to prosecution. Ensure that your equipment is fit for purpose, being used and maintaned properly by calling DSP today for a Rack Safety Inspection by an approved SEMA inspector.
