Affordable Battery Symmetry Monitor UH 9830

The UH 9830, a part of the VARIMETER series, serves as a battery symmetry monitor designed specifically for overseeing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). These systems find application, notably in emergency power supply and power generation scenarios. This device is engineered to actively monitor battery symmetry by utilizing a center tap configuration. Through the division of batteries into two strings comprising an equal number of battery blocks, discrepancies in voltage are readily detected. This capability allows for the immediate identification and reporting of faults, be it a single battery cell failure or a block malfunction. Equipped with four switchable DC measuring ranges, the UH 9830 boasts adaptability across a wide spectrum of applications, accommodating battery voltages up to DC 1000 V.
