Photo electric beam consisting of infrared transmitter and receiver. Designed to activate an alarm when an intruder, object or animal passes through the light beam between the transmitter and receiver. Create break beam alarms for doorways, garages, corridors etc. The infrared beam receiver is powered by 12V DC and is equipped with an output relay having N/O N/C contacts. The infrared transmitter can be powered by either 12V DC or 2 x AA size 3.6V Lithium batteries. Battery life is over two years. Ideal for: Automatic gate controllers - gate or walk-way alarm systems Shop doorway-entrance alarms (see transmitter kits) Burglar alarm systems - interface with existing alarm systems Automatic lighting controllers Detection of people in restricted areas Conveyor part counting Vehicle alarms - detection of forklift trucks over height limit etc Garage parking warning lights and shed alarms
