Standard Underlay

BLM Standard Underlay is a crimped filament polyester, non-woven and is needle punched to allow air to circulate freely between the underside of the Lead Sheet and the timber board decking with penny-air gaps, preventing condensation forming and corroding the underside of the Lead Sheet. It allows the Lead to breath, preventing condensation from forming and corroding the underside of the sheet. It protects the Lead sheet from imperfections from the timber board substrates, allowing the Lead to freely expand and contract during thermal movement. This underlay is resistant to high temperatures and prolongs the life of correctly fitted Lead Sheet.
