In addition to the GSM40 Series (40W), Mean Well have also introduced the GSM60 series ~ a 60W AC-DC desktop type medical adaptor with high efficiency and low power consumption. This external power supply complies with international medical safety regulations per 2*MOPP level. Possessing extremely low leakage current (≦100 μA), 91% of high efficiency, and low no load power consumption (<0.1W), they can fulfil the high quality demands of medical applications and are good power solutions for “patient contact” medical applications. The whole GSM60 series complies with the latest energy-saving regulations (level V), such as ErP step 2 of European Union and EISA 2007 (Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007) of USA…etc. With 80~264VAC full range input and 5~48V different output voltage options to fulfil the various medical equipment, the medical external power supply is a Class I power with earth ground pin and enclosed by UL 94V-0 rated plastic case, which can effectively prevent users from electrical shock. Other standard functions include: LED indicator, protections for short circuit, overload, over voltage, and over temperature.
