Mean Well have released a AC/DC miniature encapsulated type power supply ~ IRM-10 series, 10W on board module type featuring with compact size and low load power consumption at standby mode. The IRM-10 series have a very compact design to help system designers solve the tough issue of PCB space limitation. These new power units feature with extremely low no-load power consumption (<0. 1W), which allows the designers easily conform to the requirements of ErP norm (Energy-related Products) and EISA of USA for end systems. IRM-10 series are 85~264VAC full range input switchers that offer 3.3~24VDC various single output models and possess up to 85% of efficiency which can be only cooled by free air convection from -30~+70℃. The fully encapsulated packaging can provide the basic ability of anti-moisture/dust, anti-vibration, as well as heat-conduction purpose. Complete protections include short circuit, overload, and over voltage. In addition, these new series comply with certificates per UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE which can greatly guarantee your safety.
