MEAN WELL MSP-100 SERIES - MEDICAL ENCLOSED POWER SUPPLY

As a result of the demand for high reliability medical power supplies, following the launch of MSP-200 (200W) and MSP-300 (300W) series, MEAN WELL have now introduced the MSP-100 series, 100W AC/DC high efficiency, medical enclosed type power supply. MSP-100 series power supplies comply with international medical safety regulations (MOOP level) and EMI Class B level. Featuring low leakage current (≦300μA), extremely low no load power consumption (<0.5W), 1U low profile (38mm), and a full 5 years warranty, these new models can fulfill both the high quality demands of medical applications and also offer excellent power solutions for non-patient contact medical applications. Featuring modern high frequency switching technology, MSP-100 boasts up to 90% efficiency, so it can be cooled by free air convection at +40℃ ambient temperature under full load condition, and even up to +60℃ by suitable derating. Additionally, MSP-100 series can tolerate 300VAC input surge immunity for 5 seconds, which can reduce the damage caused by the unstable AC main. The standard functions include built-in remote ON/OFF control, protections for short circuit, overload (constant current mode), over voltage, and over temperature (option). Meanwhile, based on the “Green Power” design concept, these new models can be used in all kinds of “Green Mode” medical equipment or electric devices and fulfill the energy-saving requirements for end systems. MSP-100 series comply with global certificates per UL/ CUL/ CB/ CE medical safety regulations that avoid harming the environment as well as users’ safety.
