Mean Well have announced that the RSP-1000 Series will now have an extended warranty of 5 years following October 2013. The 1000W switching power supply, featuring 10.7w/inch³ of high power density, are very suitable for the industrial equipment which have limited space for installation. With the wide range trimming function, the output voltage can be adjusted from 40% to 110% rated output voltage by adding 2~5.0VDC of external control voltage, which provide users great flexibility for their system design. Because of this, they can be used in the charging systems or burn-in equipment that require wide range adjustment of output voltage and output current. With up-to- date circuit topology, the RSP-1000 series are equipped with built-in PFC function and possess up to 90% of high efficiency, so it can be cooled by the built-in long life DC fan from -30℃ to +50℃ ambient temperature under full load condition, and even up to +70℃ by suitable de-rating. Other built-in functions include remote sense, remote ON/OFF control, 5V/0.5A auxiliary output. All series comply with UL, CUL, TUV, CB and CE regulations that can greatly guarantee your safety. Applications include general industrial control system, IC testing equipment, instrumentation, telecom, data storage, laser-carving machine, and charging system ….and etc. that requires high rating of wattage supply.
