3D CAD Modelling

In a time of ever-increasing consumer expectation, great design has never been so important. At eg we understand that design is more than skin-deep. Our Industrial design team combine a thorough understanding of human factors, which encompasses user insight, ergonomics, interaction design and aesthetics, with a practical concern for technical processes, such as design for manufacture, user safety, the client’s route to market and regulatory requirements. We undertake all aspects of industrial design, from the initial development of a visual identity through to the detailed design and specification of individual components. A typical project starts with concept sketches, 3D CAD modelling and photo-realistic renderings, which lead onto rapid prototypes and, eventually, production components. We are also able to undertake graphical user interface design, icon and logo design, as well as product graphics, labelling, and packaging design. We use Solidworks, Rhino and Pro-Engineer for 3D CAD, Keyshot for rendering and Adobe Creative Suite for graphics.
