Installation of SAMSUNG / ESE SMT Production Line

Nice install this week, although it's still work in progress. With a need to increase overall factory placement capacity and with a demand to do more box build assembly work, Kasdon Electronics took on an additional factory unit to expand into. Part of this strategy was to install an SMT Line, fast enough to do more volume, yet flexible enough to cover any of todays demanding components. A reconditioned system was selected, supplied by Elite 7. A combination of speed and flexibility was put together with a reconditioned SM411N chipshooter and a reconditioned SM421N Flexibile Pick and Place Machine. As well as the Flexible mounter, Kasdon Electronics opted for a Non Stop Multi storey tray Feeder holding up to 20 trays. The Line Consists of Multi Magazine Loader - ESE US-2000X Screen Printer - SAMSUNG SM411N - SAMSUNG SM421N - 8 Zone Reflow Oven - In-Line AOI - GOOD/NO GOOD Magazine sorter. Kasdon Electronics have gone the whole hog, positioning themselves well to cope with almost any double sided PCB assembly.
