The Farming Life and Danske Bank Awards

When you consider that it accounts for one in every three pounds spent on the UK high street and that its influence over UK farming is significant, then it is worth noting that Tesco continues to sponsor the Arable/Horticulture Farmer of the Year category at the 2014 Farming Life and Danske Bank awards. According to Farming Life, it’s to demonstrate its support for local farmers and producers in its on-going Tesco Taste Northern Island campaign. The Farming Life and Danske Bank awards are all about celebrating excellence in farming, as well as contributions from individuals through the special recognition categories and this year’s awards take place on Thursday 20th October 2014 at the Ramada Hotel in Belfast. Other categories include: dairy, beef, sheep, pig, poultry and arable/horticulture farmers of the year.
