The HSE (Health & Safety Executive) introduced mandatory asbestos training for all personnel whohave the potential to come into contact with asbestos whilst working. This came into force with theControl of Asbestos Regulations (CAR 2006), which places emphasis on reducing associated risksfrom asbestos containing materials (ACMs).Regulation 10 of CAR 2006 requires employees / contractors to undergo suitable asbestosawareness training so that they are knowledgeable of the potential dangers and the proceduresthey must follow regarding ACMs.E N V is accredited to BS EN ISO/IEC 17020 by UKAS to undertake Management Surveys and Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSE guideline HSG264.E N V is also able to undertake Asbestos Testing / Bulk Analysis in our UKAS accredited laboratory. (ISO/IEC 17025).
