Jerwood Gallery

The Jerwood Gallery was opened in 2012 at a cost of 4 million pounds, the building was designed to be energy efficient with the latest solar and ground source heat pump technology. A grey water system was installed to provide water to flush toilets, unfortunately the designers did not install any filtration system resulting in debris from the roof drains entering the grey water tank and blocking the water meter and toilet inlet valves. We supplied and installed a Duplex filter system with strainer baskets filtering down to 600 microns which the client can clean on a regular basis. This system will allow the Gallery to use the grey water system as intended, another little step to re-cycling.
