Mixed Flow Chamber Spray dryers

Mixed flow spray drying systems are mostly used for non heat sensitive products such as clay.They have the advantage of having a long residence time for a shorter chamber because the system takes advantage of atomising from the bottom of the chamber. This then fires the feed upward towards the top of the chamber before it falls and drops from the chamber base.
