Firstpoint welcomes Liam Burke as Technical Client Manager (& Pro Mixologist)

Firstpoint are excited to welcome Liam Burke to the Firstpoint family this month. Liam has joined us in the role of Technical Client Account Manager to help facilitate the growing demand from new and existing customers for Import/Export services. Liam’s main focus will be to help with the compliance of customs declarations and clearance whilst also supporting the Senior team in implementing new software technologies to enable the processing of our International services. Liam has a wealth of knowledge in this field, having spent 7 years working for HMRC with 1 year in the SRRT (Surge Rapid Response Team) as well as several years as a Customs Compliance Officer. On a slightly more fun level, Liam claims to be a Pro Mixologist after spending 18 months managing a cocktail bar at the Celtic Manor (we promise that's not the main reason we hired him!). Although we have yet to witness said skills… we are certainly looking forward to the next staff party! And one more final fun fact? Liam also claims he can complete a Rubix cube in under 2 minutes. Pretty impressive all round we think! Welcome to the team Liam!!!
