July 31, 2012 The foundation for The Queen Silvia Children's Hospital is a fund raising organization with the aim to improve the life situation for seriously ill children at the hospital. The Children’s Golf Cup is their major fund raising company event and FlexLink is the main sponsor. Participants are golf pros and celebrities, and the event will attract a large public and generate considerable money to the foundation. The event is taking place at Hills Golf Club outside Gothenburg on September 3rd. Participants from the European Golf Tour and golf playing celebrities are a guarantee for show sharp and entertaining golf to raise money for the foundation. This year, the money is granted for so called healing rooms, like the Chimpanzee Lisa’s waiting worm, the Siw the Zebra’s treatment room, and other rooms offering recovery and stimuli to the children. "The Children's Golf Cup is an excellent event to raise money for the environment where seriously ill children are treated. The cause is to create a well-functioning and inspiring daily life for the children during their stay at the hospital.
