FlexLink unveils new conveyor system at Motek

FlexLink’s new pallet system for smart production and heavy loads will be shown for customers at Motek 2017. Smart twin track conveyor for heavy loads The Motek trade fair is a perfect launching pad for the world premiere of this new pallet system that can accommodate loads up to 200 kg. The system is smart, prepared for Industrial Internet of Things, provides predictive maintenance and comes with pre-defined controls and routing features. The new system enables a considerable increase of production time and improves availability thanks to its long mean time between failures (MTBF) and short mean time to repair (MTTR) on handling functions. All functions are electrical and the smart motors eliminate excessive running time, reducing energy consumption considerably. Unique puck system FlexLink will also demonstrate its unique puck system X85P which enables shorter throughput time in production lines. The smart electric handling functions for pucks offers quick routing into machine cells and other equipment, while enabling low maintenance and power consumption. Safety engineering Besides FlexLink’s wide range of pallet functions for single piece flow, Motek visitors will experience safety engineering solutions such as enclosures, fencing and guarding for automated cells and processes.
