All Grub's footwear uses our self-insulating INSU-FOAM ULTRA Bootie construction which acts as a neutral medium between the wearer and the outside. The bootie is both waterproof and insulating and exceeds the long-term effectiveness of waterproof membranes and lofted insulations. We use high grade Chloroprene in all our boots, which has a consistent micro bubble structure making it 50% more waterproof and giving it 100% more stretch, so it fits more people more of the time. Some boots look the same, don't be fooled! All our boots have tough 2mm natural rubber shells as a minimum, where the going gets tough we add our hardened toe and extra layers of rubber, so that your new Grub's are as tough as old boots. Snowline, Treeline and Stalking Series boots can be worn with snow shoes, walking studs and even basic crampons, so no conditions can stop your adventure. DICKIES Safety footwear Rigger boots Trainers Dickies safety footwear is rigorously tested to meet or exceed the minimum safety standards of EN20345. With key areas of protective footwear all covered within the range, including safety boots, riggers & much more. Dickies safety boots consist primarily of steel toecap work boots in addition to some lightweight composite metal-free variations. All complying with EN ISO 20345 as a minimum safety standard, with various additional features, our men’s safety boots are built to work. Dickies safety shoes consist mainly of smart, black, office footwear. Occasionally composite, but more commonly a steel toecap is used in this type of footwear. Some safety shoes will provide additional safety features & benefits, such as anti-penetration midsoles or slip resistant sole units, giving an excellent selection of men’s work shoes. Dickies safety trainers include both lightweight composite & steel toecap variations. ESD footwear is also included in our range of men’s safety trainers, all of which conform to EN ISO 20345 as a minimum safety standard. Dickies have a variety of safety hiker boots which support our growing range of outdoor adventure garments. As well as steel or composite toe-cap protection, our hikers also benefit from additional safety features, such as anti-penetration midsoles and have a good level of cushioning & impact protection for comfort over tough terrains. Safety riggers or rigger boots are an excellent option for oil rigs, building sites & many other industrial areas of work.
