SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A FOOTSTOOL
When you are thinking of buying a footstool there are a number of things that you need to take into consideration. Probably the first is how large or small you need it to be. Let?s face it: if you need a footstool just for yourself because you live alone, you don?t necessarily need a very big one. A small drum stool or a cube is perfect for one person, and it doesn?t take up too much space in the living room. However, if you have a partner, and you both want to put your feet up (and why wouldn?t you?) then you could use a longer footstool instead of having two separate ones, in which case a rectangular one will fill the bill. Furthermore, all of our footstools are made using strong timber and joints, and so they can easily take the weight of a couple of people sitting on them. This is perfect when you have a party at Christmas, which you can do now that most of us have been jabbed, and you simply don?t have enough seating. Unless you happen to own a country estate or a castle, you probably just have a sofa and two armchairs like the majority of us. Then you have to consider the material used to cover your footstool. We offer a huge choice of different fabrics including leathers and faux leather, so there is very likely to be something that catches your eye. Do you want it buttoned ? shallow buttoned or deep buttoned? You can have either. Or plain, if you prefer. If you look through all the materials that we stock and still don?t find anything that you like, you can click on the Designer Fabrics link and that will take you to many other suppliers from whom you can select. And if that isn?t enough, you can provide your own fabric and we?ll use that. Do you want a storage footstool, also known as a large ottoman? There are all sorts of odds and - well - bits and pieces of ?stuff? that we need to hand such as the TV remote, books, knitting, CDs, DVDs, and so on, that clutter up the living room. If you have a storage footstool it simply has a lid, and you can pop all those items into the footstool and keep them out of the way. A large ottoman can also be used for all those kids? toys. Just a minute?s work collecting them all up when they?ve gone to bed, and your living room is your own once again.
