Latest figures attributed to quality products, ‘never obsolete’ policy, UK-based manufacturing and comprehensive

Food industry metal detection specialist, Banbury-based Fortress Technology has announced its latest financial results,
summarised by a 34% increase in sales turnover. Canadian parent company Fortress Technology Inc. also reports a 25%
increase.
Sarah Ketchin, Managing Director, Fortress Technology comments: “Our strong financial performance highlights the
increasing demand for our advanced metal detectors, positive response to our training and support packages, and our
‘never obsolete’ commitment. Our customers also seem to appreciate that Fortress Technology equipment is made in
Britain.
Based on this latest performance, we are confident that the upward trend will continue during 2014. We plan on
uilding on this strong momentum with on-going investment in the sales force and operating and production functions, as
well as growing our geographic footprint through an expanding distributor network.”
Fortress Technology’s ‘never obsolete’ commitment means its metal detectors can always be upgraded, regardless of their
age, and its service engineers are able to provide validation certificates to verify compliance of machines to individual
customers’ site specifications.
