FUNKE starts up a new press line

Lower Saxonies Prime Minister David McAllister came to FUNKE to put the new press in operation. This new production line allows for the best quality production of a fresh range of thermodynamically highly efficient heat exchange plates with a maximum heat exchange area of 3 m². FUNKE can fully count on the support of the worldwide partners who will market the plates. With these sales channels FUNKE as a mid-sized company can participate in the globalization but keep the competence, research & development and above all the jobs at the headquarters. With an investment of more than 3 Million Euros for this new press line FUNKE again makes a huge step towards the future. Worldwide the new press line made by Schuler in this or similar execution is rarely seen. The capacity is 15,000 t and with special features this unit allows for higher flexibility in embossing and much higher exactness of the heat exchange plates. The presence of distinguished politicians at this event was evidence for the high appreciation for companies like FUNKE.
