Solar Powered Natural Ventilation from GDL

The GDL Solarstore is the latest development within our Intelivent natural ventilation range. It utilises the energy provided from the solar photovoltaic cell to drive the supply and extract fans within the penthouse turret. The Solarstore solution was identified as the most suitable ventilation method for Downside primary school in Luton. This solar powered solution provides continuous fresh air throughout the classrooms, assembly hall and gymnasium, whilst maintaining low energy consumption and operating costs. The Solarstore solution permits the DC battery to run the dual fan system allowing 24 hour ventilation, giving increased ventilation or ‘night purge’ during the evening when required.
