BACK-UP POWER FOR MEDIUM SIZED HOMES The Briggs and Stratton G80-CE home standby gas generator will keep your home up and running during a power cut. Specifically designed for domestic backup power, the G80 covers all the bases in power, automation and style, all from a well known name you can trust. THE POWER Powered by the efficient Briggs and Stratton Vanguard 18hp V-Twin engine, the G80 can be run on natural gas or liquid propane gas (LPG) giving you flexibility in backup generation and up to 8kW of clean power. The power is delivered via a sophisticated AVR alternator which means not only will it power your essentials but will also handle sensitive equipment such as laptops computers, tablets and mobile phones. This all leads to an efficiency of up to 21 hours of power from a single 47Kg LPG bottle at 50% load and depending on your tariff, low running costs if powered by natural gas. EASE OF USE The G80-CE has a simple start / stop push button for ease of use but it can also be used in conjunction with an optional Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). An ATS will sense the drop in mains power caused by power outages and automatically switch the generator on giving your home continual power, even if you're not there. Once the power has been restored, the generator will again sense this and automatically switch you back over to the mains. With built in overload and low oil protection, the generator safeguards itself from any possible damage. DESIGN The sturdy fully enclosed galvanised steel enclosure is designed to weather the elements and helps keep the noise levels at only 67dB which is suitable for low noise residential and rural areas. It has also been designed to be aesthetically pleasing, which is important for a machine that is to be integrated into the home.
