Scaffold Boards fall under the British Standard BS2482 and must comply and have the relevant certification in order to be used on construction projects in the UK. 

Scaffold Board Specifications 

All timber scaffold boards supplied by George Roberts are 38mm thick x 225mm wide and are either machine or visually graded as per the requirements of BS2482, our compliance with this scaffold board standard is monitored and audited on a yearly basis by the NASC (National Access Scaffolding Confederation) and in house quality checks are undertaken on every delivery.  

Scaffolding Boards produced from timber also must be fitted with steel end bands which carry a traceability code and confirm compliance to BS2482.
