2023 marks a significant milestone for GEZE UK as the company proudly commemorates 35 years of excellence and growth. Established in 1988 as the second subsidiary of its German parent company, GEZE GmbH, GEZE UK quickly rose to prominence in Chelmsford, Essex, primarily focusing on door closer product distribution.

Recognizing untapped potential in the UK market, the company took a bold step in 1997 by establishing a new division in Tamworth, Staffordshire, dedicated to providing complete automatic door solutions. This expansion included services ranging from design and installation to technical advice and guidance on building regulations.

The company's remarkable growth called for a strategic move, leading to the merger of the Chelmsford and Tamworth offices in 2003. The purpose-built premises at Fradley Park in Lichfield, Staffordshire, became the new headquarters, facilitating further progress and innovation.

In subsequent years, GEZE UK continued to expand its reach, setting up a total of 7 service offices throughout the UK. Notably, the Scottish office, situated near Glasgow, became a prominent full-service provider for the Scottish market, specializing in automatic door specification, installation, and service.

Reflecting on the journey, Kaz Spiewakowski, the Managing Director of GEZE UK, expressed pride in the company's resilience and unity during challenging times, including navigating through Brexit, the Covid pandemic, and a recent cyber-attack. The dedication and expertise of the team, which has grown to over 250 members from humble beginnings, have been instrumental in the company's success.
