GEZE UK has enhanced its commitment to sustainability and optimising operational efficiencies by installing three new packaging systems from Ranpak at its Fradley headquarters: the FillPak TT, the PadPak Guardian, and the Geami Wrap ‘n Go™.
FillPak TT
The FillPak TT void-filling machine uses paper filler to stabilise and protect products during storage and shipping. By securely locking items in place within the box, it reduces the risk of damage caused by movement, impacts, or vibrations. As a clean, efficient, and flexible system, it dispenses paper on-demand at high volumes, enabling GEZE UK to use less packaging material overall. Additionally, the paper is more sustainable than the plastic alternatives previously used.
PadPak Guardian
The PadPak Guardian provides a compact, fast, and straightforward cushioning solution for protecting fragile items during transport. By controlling shocks and vibrations, it significantly reduces the likelihood of damaged box contents and subsequent returns. The enhanced loading system allows paper to be loaded in just 20 to 30 seconds, reducing production time. Even in the event of a paper jam, GEZE UK can resolve the issue quickly and simply at the push of a button, minimising paper waste.
Geami Wrap ‘n Go™
The Geami Wrap ‘n Go™ converter expands eco-friendly die-cut kraft paper into a protective, 3D honeycomb structure. This provides excellent scratch and abrasion resistance, as well as protection from minor handling incidents. Its modular design enables GEZE UK to tailor the solution to its specific packaging requirements, securely wrapping items without the need for adhesive tape or cutting.
