Having successfully used DX® bearings in critical brake applications, we now use them extensively on other assemblies where pins are heavily loaded as well. We’ve had excellent experience with DX® bearings. Compared with the total cost of a hoisting system, they’re a relatively inexpensive component. Something would have to change dramatically for us to consider another bearing.
