Glazing Refurbishment CWCT water test, identify points of water ingress and then refurbish large pyramid rooflight to largest shopping centre within Greater London area. Access to the steep pitched elevations was achieved with a combination of glazing abseilers and mechanical access. All external glazing caps were removed to this leaking glazed structure, internal drainages chanels flushed out, new foil backed glazing tape applied, new gasket weather seals supplied and new polyester powder coated aluminium glazing cals with stainless steel fixings also applied. Upon completion the previosly leaking pyramid rooflight was water tested to CWCT standards and upon a successful outcome a 120 month Glazing Refurbishment performance guarantee issued to the client.
