Head for Heights
Glazing Refurbishment Ltd continue to make health and safety their number one priority. Our new marketing assistant decided she wanted to see for herself the work our technicians carry out. A good insight into the nature of the work and the risks involved helps all our office based staff understand our customers needs and have a better understanding of what can be achieved. Following IPAF safety harness training she was able to join the team on a roof in London. A head for heights was a given but what really helped, was knowing that the team made health and safety a priority. Our Site Technicians are trained to CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) standards, IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) standards, IPAF (Industrial Powered Access Federation) standards and PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) standards. Our Health & Safety Managers, Operations Managers, Project Managers and Site Technicians are also trained to SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) standards. Hard hats, goggles, gloves and hi-viz vests are the bare minimum when it comes to being protected, and whilst a safety harness may not look particularly fashionable they are all the rage with Glazing Refurbishment’s teams of technicians. Being clipped on to the gantry completed the look for our marketing girl who took the opportunity to take a few snaps of our guys in action. If you need someone to look at your high level glazing then call Glazing Refurbishment Ltd today. They have all the experience to ensure your glazing is looked after in a professional and safe manner.
