Glazing Refurbishment Ltd is frequently called upon to carry out Health and Safety inspections, surveys and audits of the integrity and condition of architectural glazing on buildings throughout the UK. In many instances these inspection programmes are requested to fulfil site insurance requirements and reduce policy premiums. A comprehensive survey is conducted throughout, including all areas of high level and difficult access glazing. Items inspected include glass, glazing system, all associated components and fixings and supporting structural steelwork, highlighting any glass that does not comply with current regulations and component failure or degradation of any kind. From loose or missing fixings through to hermetic seal failure, current faults and projected dilapidations, all eventualities are confirmed and reported.
