The reflective units were initially measured and specified using the buildings existing o&m manual with our rope access specialist obtaining production sizes. After ordering the glass from our European supplier our operations team compiled our detailed health and safety paperwork for client approval. Works took place on Sunday evening to cause the minimum of disruption to our client and the public. Utilising a specialist counterbalanced hoist system at roof level the glass was conveyed to the aperture in conjunction with 2no rope technicians. Internally our operatives were secured using mobile man anchors and lanyard fall arrests. Once secured structural silicone was applied.
