Glazing Refurbishment were called upon following one of our high level inspections and reports to undertake glazing repair works to this central London site. The scope of the works included the stripping of the existing crittal window frames, application of primer and then re-paint in situ, new weather seals, handles, window locks and hinges and the upgrading of the existing framework/rebate to allow the replacement of the existing float glass panels to new thermally efficient double glazed units. In addition and within the same mobilisation we removed and replaced 22No Georian wired rough cast panels and replaced with new Georgian wired polished safety panels - Glazing Refurbishment is still able to source Georgian wired replacement panels via our International suppliers/contacts despite this product no longer being manufactured or available in the UK.
