Glazing Refurbishment have this month completed the complete overhead atrium re-glaze at Bristol's Harbourside complex. Utilising our bespoke boardwalk access systems in conjunction with ropes and harnesses our high level replacement division worked throughout the night removing the existing 6mm laminate glass and replacing with new. To improve both the aesthetic appearance and reduce the light emissivity our operatives installed a silver reflective solar control film prior to installation. All pressure caps were stripped of there gasket and replaced with new including new stainless steel fixings to ensure correct compression. Glazing Refurbishment Ltd offer a multiple high level glass and cladding panel replacement service, we are able to completely replace glass roofs, rooflights, atria, curtain walling, glazing caps and cladding panels whilst still utilising the existing framework, bar work, flashings and fixings. This service means that we can often complete the works on a rolling program basis, removing a panel and immediately replacing with new, thus minimising the cost and disruption to the client and maintaining the weather tightness of the building below at all times, these works can also be completed outside of office hours to assist with tenanted buildings. We are able to match any specification/tint of glass panels, units and any shade - RAL number when using polyester powder paint coverings for cladding panels, weather flashings, rainwater goods and glazing caps.
