Glazing Refurbishment have recently completed a large scale atrium refurbishment of Southampton’s luxury De Vere hotel. Working on the glazing face here required the services of our difficult access rope teams who established complex rope systems to reach all areas of the glazing face. When replacing seals it’s of paramount importance adequate access directly onto the glazing face is achieved to ensure every detail of the glazing is overhauled. Our abseilers are qualified to internationally recognised IRATA standards (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association). More importantly our abseilers are qualified to undertake a wide range of repairs and inspections when other access methods are not practical or cost effective. The abseiling option is ideal for : Localised repair work in hard to reach locations, removing broken glass, preliminary inspections, cleaning, removing debris from gutter systems, sealant repairs.
