Glazing Vision Purchase New Head Office/Factory in Diss, Norfolk Glazing Vision (GV), the original frameless glass rooflight manufacturer, is delighted to announce that new premises have been purchased in Diss, Norfolk to merge the existing factories and head office buildings in Brandon, Suffolk into one location. The new premises was formerly home to Hamlin Electronics who have moved to a smaller site and this large, spacious and modern building will now house all 10 of Glazing Vision’s factories and offices consolidated under one roof. The move is not only beneficial to the production of our Glass Rooflights, which are all made in-house within our factory, but will also lead to improved communication and cooperation between departments and a more efficient production line. A reduced carbon footprint and better overall environmental awareness and responsibility will also be a result of this move. Chris Chaney, GV MD, said “Glazing Vision is a very successful company, the quality and uniqueness of the roof light products we manufacture has won the approval of the architect community, giving them the opportunity to use natural light more effectively in building design. This has created a constant and growing demand for the products, the innovation of new products and new designs. In order to meet this demand and to satisfy the company ambition of expansion in Europe and the United States we need to grow our manufacturing capability. To do this the company has recently acquired 64,000sq ft of factory space in Diss, Norfolk which will become the UK headquarters for the company. The move will give us the opportunity to increase production, reduce lead times and improve efficiency. Our staff, many of whom have worked loyally with us over a number of years to create the Glazing Vision of today, will all be offered the opportunity to move with us. They will see improvement in their working conditions and enjoy more modern and pleasant surroundings.
