Terraprene® is part of a group of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) and is available in different compounds, each with varying proportions of renewable raw materials. With a number of different compounds available, this allows for different hardness grades from 40 shore A to 40 shore D depending on your project requirements.Thermoplastic elastomer – a rubber-like polymer that can vary in softness, some variants can be a soft gel like material. TPE is often used as a rubber alternative due to it’s cost savings in injection moulding compared to the cost of working with rubber in processes such as extrusion.
