A GUIDE TO SAFE RECYCLING
11-10-2021
It’s no secret that recycling can be confusing and it’s difficult to tell if you’re following all of the correct guidelines. With this recycling guide, we hope to assist you with what you can and cannot recycle.
A huge proportion of UK households and companies still do not recycle enough, instead throwing anything they believe to be “rubbish” into their regular bins. Much of this waste is recyclable, and it should be disposed of separately from other trash. This means that fewer materials end up in landfills and that the materials can be recycled into something new. Learn basic recycling etiquette standards, find out which sort of collection is preferable and why different locations recycle and collect in different ways all in this blog.
RECYCLING GUIDLINES
The recycling standards include a list of products that can and cannot be recycled, as well as how to submit objects for recycling, such as tops on or off. For the first time, a national agreement has been achieved between re-processors, local governments, and waste management companies on what can and cannot be accepted for recycling where collections are in place. The following categories are listed in the guidelines:
Paper

Mixed Paper & Card
Plastic Bottles
