February Blog – Celebrating Apprenticeship Week

Over the last three decades, apprenticeships have been the driving force in retaining engineering skills within Grenville Engineering. We recently celebrated National Apprenticeship Week with our new cohort of apprentices as well as our skilled team that have grown from apprentices to senior members of the production team. The partnership with North Staffs Engineering Group Training Association (NSEGTA) has been invaluable to ensure that our apprentices have the knowledge and skills to succeed in the Sheet Metal Fabrication industry. Our apprentices new and old have the opportunity to learn important techniques in MIG and TIG welding as well as operating advanced machinery such as our Fiber laser and automatic press brakes. Pictured below left, our new cohort of apprentices and right past apprentices that have worked in various departments and now in senior leadership roles.
