GEMOS – independent and manufacturer-neutral

GEMOS is the leading browser-based security information management and organisation system (PSIM – advanced physical security information system) from ela-soft, a company within the GU group. As it is an open system, it functions without being bound to any specific technology or manufacturer. It is possible to manage a variety of media, communication and security systems in a manufacturer-neutral manner with GEMOS such as fire alarm systems, assault and intrusion detection systems, video management systems, access control systems, fire extinguishing and SHEV systems and much more. High availability and secure interfaces are the basis for the smooth-functioning linking of third-party systems to management systems. Intelligent GEMOS interfaces provide a separate driver for coupling with every third-party system. The GEMOS driver is independently run-capable and a self-contained software component that, on the one hand, speaks the language of the third-party trade and, on the other hand, speaks "GEMOS". GEMOS and browser connections From this year onwards, MS Internet Explorer (11) will no longer be developed. This means that we will not continue the cooperation with this browser, which has existed since 2003. The new versions of GEMOS are now universally applicable for the three leading browsers on the market: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox. This means that GEMOS is less dependent on one specific browser and takes our corporate claim, "GEMOS is manufacturer-neutral", to a whole new level.
