Broadcast and Telecommunications Survey Vehicle

Built around a Ford Tourneo and installed with one 12m Clarke and one 20m AP2000 pneumatic masts, extensive RF survey work can be carried out with the vehicle. The Clarke 12m mast is normally rigged with a professional broadcast log periodic antenna for use at UHF television frequencies. This feeds test equipment including an Anritsu Spectrum Master MS2711D - Spectrum & Network Analyser, a Promax Prolink 4C and a Rohde & Schwarz ESVB. All television reception work is carried out at 10m AGL - the height used for network planning, as most domestic receive antenna systems are mounted at 10m AGL. GPS, 2.4GHz, DAB & VHF antennas are also fixed to the vehicle enabling drive surveys to be undertaken and for vehicle computers to gain GPS location data for field studies. The professionally built and calibrated survey vehicle includes several safety systems to ensure operator and public safety. All vehicle work is undertaken safely, professionally and in accordance with GTech Surveys's Health & Safety and Environmental Policies. The survey vehicle is highly adaptable for both transmission and reception use and is available for hire with a driver or engineer.
