Laminar Flow Cabinets are supplied by Guardtech Cleanrooms Limited as part of their Laminar Flow equipment range.Laminar flow cabinets or laminar flow closets are carefully enclosed benches designed to prevent contamination of semiconductor wafers, biological samples, or any particle sensitive device. Air is drawn through a HEPA filter and blown in a very smooth, laminar flow towards the user. Laminar Flow Cabinets are usually made of stainless steel or Polypropylene with no gaps or joints where spores might collect.Laminar Flow equipment can be used to upgrade working areas, providing additional air changes per hour over a working process, they can also be valuable sources of exhaust to remove nasty vapours and smells from omitting chemical processes.
