The Atlantic Old English 80mm latch has bolt through piercings for use with back-to-back fixings.  Using back-to-back fixings, particularly when fixing door handles on a rose, gives an extremely strong fitting to the door as the handles are literally clamped together on either side of the door.  Therefore, door handles fitted in this way will withstand lots of everyday use.

The case size of this latch is 80mm and the backset measurement is 60mm.  This means that the centre of the handle where it meets the door is 60mm from the edge of the door, measuring horizontally.  When replacing existing latches, the backset measurement is the most crucial as this is where the holes will be cut into the door, so matching the backset measurement is what is important when choosing a replacement latch.

This quality latch takes a UK standard 8mm square spindle and comes complete with a black plastic strike box, neatly covering the cut out in the door for a tidy finish.

Atlantic Old English Finish

The finish of this latch is Matt Gun Metal, one of the unusual Atlantic Old English finishes.  This latch will match the Atlantic Old English door handles in Matt Gun Metal.  The bathroom turn and release sets and key escutcheons  to match the door handles are also available in Matt Gun Metal.  To complete the range of products in this finish, hinges and bathroom dead bolts are also available.
