The Briton 378 Panic Latch Bar is approved to BS EN1125 CE and sitable for use in public areas such as schools, offices and shops.  Fitted to single doors it can be fitted with a rim cylinder on the external side of the door, for easy entry.

Public Buildings

Where people have not been trained in the use and location of a buildings panic exit devices and where members of the public have general access, exit devices conforming to EN 1125 must be specified and used.

Part of EN 1125 recommends that all panic devices should be routinely maintained on a monthly basis and checks on the operation of these devices should be carried out to ensure all components are operating satisfactorily.

Push Bar to Open

Each panic latch comes supplied with a self adhesive 'Push Bar to Open' sign for the door.
