The Easi-T 63mm (2.5") Euro Profile BS8621 Cylinder & Turn Deadlock PVD Brass comes complete with a cylinder & turn and security escutcheons - it has been designed for use on apartment entrance doors and similar situations. Externally the lock is approved to insurance requirements whilst internally it is possible to escape easily in the case of an emergency. The security escutcheon is an integral part of the insurance rating of the lock and must be fitted to maintain the British Standard approval.

It has a solid steel case and hardened steel deadbolt; the lock is plated with a PVD brass finish. The cylinder & turn and escutcheons also have the same finish to match.

Other Variations

The deadlock is also available in a 76mm size (57mm backset) and in a satin stainless steel finish - some of these variations can be found in the related products.

Standard External Doors

Due to the cylinder supplied and the security escutcheons the BS8621 cylinder and turn deadlock is only suitable for standard external quality doors (45mm thick) it will not fit internal 35mm thick doors.
