The Finesse Fittings Durham Door Handle on Jesmond Rose Natural Pewter features a chunky detailed lever on a smart square rose. The handle length is 130mm and the rose size is 65mm x 65mm. They are sold in pairs complete with spindle, bolt through fixings and wood screws.

Finesse Design use only the best quality lead-free pewter (min 92% tin), which is entirely safe to use anywhere in the home and does not rust. Pewter has a warm and lustrous quality, which is hand-finished to give a unique patina. Finesse products are neither plated nor lacquered.  Cleaning with a soft damp cloth will restore the original finish.

All Finesse Design products are primarily designed for internal domestic use. When used externally, over time the appearance of outer handles will alter due to weathering  - we do not recommend for external use in coastal areas or for exposure to harsh weather environments.

Matching Accessories for the Durham Handle

An appropriate mortice latch will be required for all non-locking internal doors. These are available separately; see Related Products and the Locks & Latches category.

Matching key escutcheons are available for doors you may wish to lock - contact us for information on purchasing these. An escutcheon is simply a cover for the keyhole cut-out in the door. Usually one pair is required for each door, 'standard' for doors with sash locks and 'euro' for doors with cylinder locks. Locks are available separately; see the Locks & Latches category.

Matching bathroom turn and release sets can be fitted to bathroom doors which will allow the door to be locked with a small turn knob in the inside and opened via a coin slot on the outside in the event of an emergency. Using a turn and release set is a requirement of Building Regulations for new-build projects and is a very safe and convenient way of locking a bathroom door for improvements to existing buildings.
