Harlequin Floors And Ausdance Welcome Eight Dance Companies To Perform At Australian Dance Awards 2016

12-Sep-2016 The 2016 Australian Dance Awards, presented by Harlequin Floors and Ausdance, has raised the bar with the announcement that eight national dance companies will be performing in Perth this weekend. Across the course of the star-studded evening, as well as the awards presentations, there will be a diverse range of performances from previous dance award winners, this year’s nominees and dancers from eight different world-renowned Australian dance companies. The excitement of the night will be captured by MCs Briana Shepherd, Perth ABC’s very own newsreader and former dancer with The New York Ballet, and James Berlyn, award-winning performing artist. Harlequin Floors' Group Marketing Manager, Mark Rasmussen, who flies in from the UK this week to attend the big event, said: “The Australian Dance Awards is pulling out the big guns with this year’s line-up and, with such a rich mix showcasing the very best of Australian dance, it’s definitely not to be missed.
