The Harlequin Stage at Hatch House is once again the setting for The Covent Garden Dance Company’s sixth season of ‘International Stars of Ballet and Dance’.
Staged at Hatch House on Friday and Saturday July 17th and 18th, the 17th century house in rural Wiltshire is described as a ‘home from home’ for The Covent Garden Dance Company – the place where it ‘all started in 2010.’
The Harlequin Stage is based on a sprung sub floor comprised of interlocking Harlequin Liberty panels, topped with a Harlequin Cascade vinyl dance surface to provide a high quality professional dance floor appropriate to the event.
Star attraction this year is the acclaimed Carlos Acosta, long time principal dancer for the Royal Ballet who will be joined on the Harlequin Stage by Royal Ballet Principal Mara Galeazzi and artists from The Royal Danish Ballet and Ballet Basel.
